THE STORY

You receive a mysterious envelope in the mail addressed to you.
For a moment, you hesitate. Is it just another piece of junk mail destined for the trash? Or something… different? Something worth opening?
Curiosity wins.
Inside, you find a letter:
“Hello, lucky player.
I am the Game Master.
You are receiving this correspondence because the universe has deemed you a worthy contestant in my treasure hunt. Hidden within a world of my own design lies a vast fortune – and now, you have the opportunity to find it.
Over the course of 12 weeks, you will receive 12 mailings, each unlocking a new level of the game. You will investigate unfamiliar locations, interact with mysterious characters, and solve intricate puzzles to advance.
But be warned… you are not alone.
Other contestants and forces within my world will do everything they can to see you fail.
If you are ready to begin your search for my life-changing fortune, simply say the words… GAME ON… and you will be transported into my world.”

Letters will ship on Fridays with USPS. You will receive tracking information with your first shipment. All shipments after the first shipment will have no tracking with them.

These letters are intended to be read in order. If you do not receive one, we will make sure that we take care of you! US customers should receive letters within 1-2 weeks from when they are shipped. International customers may take longer. If you don’t receive a letter, please email us at support@deadboltmysterysociety.com and we will reship one for you.

IN FULL – If you purchase Letters from a Game Master with this option, you will pre-pay for the entire 12-week experience. You will only be charged for the initial purchase.

MONTHLY – If you purchase Letters from a Game Master with this option, you will pay over three months for the entire 12-week experience. You will have the initial purchase charge and a renewal charge each month for the following two months. There will be a total of three monthly charges. The date that you have the initial purchase charge will also be the date in the following months when your renewals occur. (Ex. Initial purchase charge on April 3. Renewal charge – May 3. Final Renewal charge – June 3)

If you would like to give this as a gift sent directly to the recipient, make sure to put the gift recipient’s name and address at checkout. If you would like for the first letter of the gift to be sent at a certain time, please email support@deadboltmysterysociety.com and we will work with you.
